7.20

Perhaps you’ve seen all those incredible 3D, eye boggling quilts and you can’t decide which version you’d like?  Well this is the pattern for you.  3D Boxes by Lessa Siegele has 5 different types of cubes that you can construct. Follow the instructions or make the pattern yours!  Create and watch as the 3D illusion of cubes and boxes come alive.

This pattern is great for the men in your life.

The pattern requires good tonal variation in Light, Medium and Dark fabrics.  Lessa’s easy diagrams and instructions are clear to follow and this will be a simple quilt to construct, while onlookers will be amazed at it’s complexity.

No paper piecing or Y seams involved!  It’s straight seams all the way!

The 3D boxes pattern has instructions for 2 pattern sizes.  35”x37”(90x95cm) and 42”x70””(107 x 177cm).  More boxes could be added to make a quilt to your specific needs.

Lessa Siegele is a very experienced Australian quilting teacher and has written many wonderful patterns such as Ring Cycles and Rajah Revisited.  She has appeared on The Quilt Show and her Rajah quilt is the TQS block of the month for 2016.

You really will love this quilt and the effects you will get when you put it together!
